š Welcome to Week 2 of the Change Reflection Series
ā¤ļø A space where your heart can catch up with your mind.
We're still working on getting used to the idea of pruning in our lives. š¹
As weāve discussed, our lives often produce more growth than we can sustain. To complicate things further, our resourcesātime, energy, finances, talent, and emotionsāare all finite.
To allow our lives to truly flourish, something has to go. But where to begin?
Letās try a visualization exercise to help us take the first step: Close your eyes and picture your habits, activities, commitments, and relationships as buds on the rosebush of your life.
š What do you see?
š Which buds are the bestāthe ones you wouldnāt dare touch?
šæ Which ones are OKĀ but not thriving?
š Which look sickly, despite your best efforts to nourish them?
š Which ones are deadĀ and blocking the potential of healthy buds?
š± Take some time to reflect on what this exercise reveals. Pruning isnāt easy, but itās essential for a flourishing, thriving life. š±
š Since our hearts need time, the article stays the same for the whole week and is available in the resourcesĀ section of my website.
⨠And donāt forget to join me tomorrow for the last reflection of the week.
