Support Through Shared Experience
Group Coaching Agreement
This agreement outlines the terms for group coaching sessions to create a clear, productive, and professional experience for all participants. By signing up for a group coaching session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.
The Nature of Coaching
Coaching is an ongoing relationship between a coach and a person who desires coaching. We agree that:
-
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, advice-giving, mental health care, or treatment for substance abuse. The coach is not a functioning licensed mental health professional, and coaching is not intended as a replacement for counseling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for mental illness, recovery from past abuse, professional medical advice, financial assistance, legal counsel, or other professional services.
-
Coaching is for people who are basically well-adjusted, emotionally healthy, functioning effectively, and want to make changes in their lives.
-
Coaching is designed to address issues the person being coached would like to consider. These could include (but are not limited to) career development, relationship enhancement, spiritual growth, lifestyle management, life balance, decision making, and achieving short-term or long-term goals.
-
Coaching can involve brainstorming, values clarification, the completion of written assignments, education, goal setting, identifying plans of action, accountability, making requests, agreements to change behavior, examining lifestyles and questioning.
-
Coaching is most effective when both parties are honest and straightforward in their communications.
-
In a coaching relationship, the client is encouraged and empowered to take responsibility for their decisions and actions. The client is expected to maintain their sense of balance and well-being during and after each session, applying insights gained to their own circumstances and managing their progress independently.
-
Coaching is a confidential relationship and the coach agrees to keep all information strictly confidential, except in those situations where such confidentiality would violate the law.
-
The Coach and the Client agree to maintain the ethics and standards of behavior set by ICF, the International Coaching Federation. If the Client feels that the Coach has violated ICF ethics, the Client may file a report for the violation at www.coachfederation.org

Group Coaching Terms
Scope of Service
Group coaching provides a supportive, interactive space where participants explore personal and professional challenges alongside peers in similar situations.
Each six-week program fosters shared learning, accountability, and new perspectives through guided discussions and coaching exercises.
The first session is a "chemistry call" where participants experience the group dynamic and determine if the program is right for them. At the end of this session, participants decide whether to continue. Those who choose not to proceed will receive a full refund of their deposit. However, if a participant does not attend the chemistry call, the deposit is non-refundable.
While group coaching offers valuable insights and collective wisdom, individual results will vary, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Information shared by others in the session must not be repeated or disclosed to anyone outside the group.

Violations & Consequences
-
If a participant breaches confidentiality, including sharing session details, participant identities, or recording a session, they may be immediately removed from the program without a refund.
Final Notes
By registering for this program, participants agree to the terms outlined in this agreement.
What to Expect from Your Group Coaching Sessions
Ground Rules
Each session is designed to create a supportive and structured space for reflection, connection, and growth. To foster such an environment we agree to the following ground rules:
✅ Respect confidentiality – What is shared in the group stays in the group.
✅ One voice at a time – Allow others to speak and listen actively.
✅ Judgment-free zone – Offer support, not advice or criticism.
✅ Stay present – Minimize distractions (phones, emails, multitasking).
✅ Full participation – Engage with the process to get the most from it.
✅ On-time arrival – Sessions start promptly; late arrivals may disrupt the flow.
✅ Cameras on at the start – To create a safe and connected environment, all participants are expected to turn on their cameras at the beginning of each session.
✅ OK to turn off as needed – You may go off-camera during the session if necessary, but staying visually present is encouraged for group cohesion.
Session Structure
To help us leaving the day behind, and setting a calm environment we'll start each session with a few deep breaths.
Chemistry Call (Week 1)
The first session is a chance to meet the group, set expectations, and confirm fit before committing to the full program.
-
Introductions & top-of-mind check-in (~3 min per person) – Please come prepared to share.
-
Review of ground rules and session structure (~10 min).
-
Group vote on discussion topic (via Zoom Poll).
-
15-minute coaching session based on the chosen topic.
-
Final decision – At the end of the chemistry call, each participant confirms whether they want to continue with the program. If fewer than 4 participants choose to continue, the group will be canceled, and all participants will receive a full refund.
Ongoing Sessions (Weeks 2-5)
Each session follows a consistent structure to foster trust and engagement:
-
Breathing exercise – A short grounding practice.
-
Confidentiality reminder & ground rules (see below).
-
Gratitude & top-of-mind check-in (<2 min per person).
-
Group vote on discussion topic (via Zoom Poll).
-
40-minute coaching session focused on the chosen topic.
-
Closing reflection – Share one thing you liked and one thing you didn’t.
Final Session (Week 6)
The last session includes a reflection on the experience:
-
A shorter coaching session following the regular structure.
-
A retrospective discussion:
-
What are you walking away with?
-
What would you have liked to walk away with?
-
-
Post-session: I’ll follow up with a short survey to gather your thoughts and, if you’re open to it, a testimonial about your experience.
